Ruth Espina, HR Recruitment Expert
Managing Partner | Ruth Espina
With over 35 years of experience in human resources and HR recruitment, Ruth is a trusted expert in connecting top HR talent with leading organizations. As Managing Partner of Forum Group HR Recruitment Partners, she leads the firm’s newly established HR recruitment division, specializing in placing professionals across all HR disciplines, from Chief People Officers to HR Generalists, Compensation Experts, and Talent Leaders.
A Career Rooted in HR Excellence
Ruth began her career as an HR Business Partner in the fast-paced fashion and retail sector, working with brands like Macy’s, Nine West, Kenneth Cole, and Starbucks. Her hands-on experience in high-volume recruitment, employee relations, and HR management laid the foundation for her transition into HR search in 1999 with Maximum Management, later acquired by Frazer Jones. Over the years, she has successfully placed 863 HR professionals, helping companies build high-performing teams.
Why Forum Group?
Ruth’s partnership with The Forum Group was a natural next step. With a strong respect for the firm’s leadership and a deep appreciation for its 50-year legacy in talent acquisition, she saw the opportunity to build a best-in-class HR recruitment practice. Forum’s commitment to philanthropy and veteran ownership also resonates personally, as her father and father-in-law both served in WWII.

Vision for Forum Group HR Recruitment Partners
Our mission is to establish a firm that quickly and strategically delivers quality HR talent, supporting both established enterprises and growing startups. We believe in honesty, genuine conversations, and strong relationships, ensuring every placement is the right fit for the client and the candidate in the long run.
Beyond Recruitment:
A Passion for Breaking Barriers
A Queens, NYC native now based in Northern New Jersey, Ruth applies the same determination in her personal life as she does professionally. When her daughter became the only female on her high school football team, Ruth supported her every step—resulting in a state championship win and a place in history as New Jersey’s first female high school football champion.
Just as she empowers her family to challenge conventions, Ruth is committed to helping clients and candidates think bigger, break barriers, and achieve their highest potential.
